We at SKM engage qualified veterinarians who offer technical assistance to the poultry farmers. They engage in disease diagnosis and treatment, sanitation,disinfection, water treatment. They advise our customers for ideal management practices and bio-security measures. 30 well trained technicians are working in this department to ensure vaccinations, debeaking that are to be carried out in the farms. A highly sophisticated and well equiped laboratory is dedicated to provide quality technical assistance for our customers. Our technical team also inspects the quality of eggs that are produced in our customer's farms. Our technicians work round the clock, to cater to the needs of the farmer. Farmers are happy because all these services are free of cost.

Social Causes

To The Farmers

To champion the cause of the Poultry Farmers and also to represent the problems of the Poultry Industry, SKM founded the TAMILNADU POULTRY FARMERS WELFARE ASSOCIATION which played a key role in the removal of sales tax on Poultry Feed in Tamil Nadu and in the introduction of Eggs in Tamil Nadu Government's Noon Meal Programme. This association sponsors TAC (Technical Advisory Council)- a common platform for Vetnerinarians from Government, University and Industry-to analyse and suggest the line of treatment for the Poultry. SKM publishes a monthly Poultry Magazine in Tamil- Kozhi Nanbhan which educates, advises and guides Poultry Farmers.

SKM is actively involved in various educational and social institutions. It is known for philanthropic and benevolent contributions to social, charitable and health causes. Above all, SKM fulfils the aim and objective of the State and Central Government - towards the upliftment of Rural Economy by providing self-employment guidance and support to the rural youth, and thereby checking the migration of rural population to urban areas
